Hydraulic Upgrade Package for Sutton 45KTC Straightener
We're excited to announce the latest hydraulic upgrade package for the Sutton 45KTC Straightener installed at US Steel Fairfield, AL, designed to elevate performance and efficiency. This modernization includes a state-of-the-art hydraulic valve stand, accumulator stand, and six new clamping units, all engineered to optimize hydraulic force and enhance clamping/unclamping speed for the machine's middle stem. Developed in-house by SMS Group US in Pittsburgh, PA, this upgrade reflects our deep expertise in Sutton machines and was tailored in close collaboration with the customer to meet their stringent production requirements. The installation is scheduled to take place on-site in September 2024.
