Angle Ring Goes Digital with the Radyne TDi Induction Power Convertor.
Inductotherm Heating & Welding are pleased to announce the completion of commissioning at Angle Ring – Tipton of a new 560kW Radyne TDi Power Convertor on their largest induction bending machine. Angle Ring specialises in bending and curving metal and alloys, including intricate curved sections, bars and tube to improve the metal fabrication process, with the largest bending line accommodating 36 inch pipe. The TDi range of induction power converters offer a wide selection of power and frequency combinations with digital controls. They incorporate the latest technology ensuring the highest efficiency, flexibility, and operational reliability suitable for the most challenging climatic and industrial environments.
Radyne is the leading brand in the design and manufacture of high quality, accredited induction solutions, covering a wide range of induction heating and coating of pipe (both offshore and onshore) throughout the oil and gas sector. Their induction systems can also be found in Wire production facilities and are utilized globally in a variety of heating applications.

This new installation was to replace an existing Radyne converter installed over 20 years ago and bolsters the already strong relationship between Inductotherm Heating & Welding and Angle Ring, as well as their continued utilisation of Induction Technology spanning back to the 1990’s.
