June 2021 see’s the celebration of Inductotherm Heating & Welding’s 50th year of incorporation and to celebrate this significant anniversary Inductotherm Heating & Welding has launched new history pages to explain the company’s rich history.
Starting life as Inductron Limited in 1971 the Basingstoke based company changed its name a number of times to reflect its main provision of Thermatool products calling itself “Thermatool UK Limited in April 1987. After the company expanded in 2006 incorporating the then separate well established induction companies of Radyne, Banyard and Newelco into the existing premises at the European headquarters of Thermatool the companies’ final name change to Inductotherm Heating & Welding came in 2011.
The amalgamation of staff, expertise and innovation saw a large expansion of both product provision but also of ideas and expertise as the business became the hub for collaboration and the sharing of knowledge to better improve products and services to it now broad-based customer base.
“As we are recognizing 50 years of operations from Inductron through the additions of Newelco, Thermatool, Radyne and Banyard all with long enviable history of reliable and industry leading equipment in Induction technologies to the company that is today “Inductotherm Heating & Welding ltd, part of Inductotherm Group. We celebrate and recognize those that contributed to our success and to our current workforce and the new apprenticeship and trainees that will become our future”
Time demands change and we are continually developing systems, process and staff to bring efficiency, improving our products to meet ever demanding customer’s needs, it is something Inductotherm group leads by “Globally yet Local”, we are here to serve. “Metal is what you make it”.
