17th AICON 3D Forum, 9 March 2017 in Braunschweig

On 9 March 2017, the AICON 3D Systems GmbH will host their AICON 3D Forum at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) in Braunschweig. The focus is on “Current trends and applications in optical 3D metrology”.

Some things are new, a lot remains the same: Since 1 April, AICON is part of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence – however, the company stays true to its traditions. For the 17th time already, quality management and metrology, scientists and persons interested in 3D metrology meet in Braunschweig.

At the AICON 3D Forum, visitors get a wide insight into the latest trends and developments. This year’s keynote speaker is Norbert Hanke, CEO at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. His topic: Connected Factory. Further presentations focus e.g. on the scanning of vehicles and subsequent reverse engineering, the application of photogrammetry in aircraft construction as well as the use of 3D metrology in tube bending.

At the parallel company exhibition, participants learn more about new software and metrology products. Besides AICON, even Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Q-Das, m&h Inprocess Messtechnik GmbH and Schmehmann Rohrverformungstechnik GmbH will display their products and services.

The AICON 3D Forum will be held in German language. The complete program is available at www.aicon3dforum.de.
