Announcement to the tube industry regarding tube 2022

We, the board and members of the ITA, are very glad that after the most difficult corona times, we will have again the chance to meet our industry at Tube 2022, in Düsseldorf.
The most important industrial event of our industry, Tube 2020, had to be cancelled.
To keep contacts among our industry, the ITA has organized the virtual event “ITA Net Forum” as a supplement for Tube 2020. We were very glad to have some 50.000 participants from our industry joining this event.
The corona pandemic has forced us to establish work arounds based on virtual techniques. Meetings with customers, conferences and even some exhibitions were virtually organized on the World Wide Web. We all got used to these internet-based communications, but we have also during this period realized that we are also desperately waiting to see our customers and suppliers in person.
Now many people are vaccinated and therefore better protected and waiting to get more freedom to travel and meet customers and suppliers.
Our industry is recovering, tube prices are promising, investments in the industry are getting attractive again.
In good faith and in light of the industrial recovery many exhibitors have already booked their booths at Tube 2022, and we expect a tremendous trade show presenting many innovations to the industry.
We hope to welcome you at Tube 2022 to give the exhibitors and their innovations your appreciation and to give further positive push to our tube industry.
The ITA together with Messe Düsseldorf will for the first time also provide guided tours for visitors at Tube 2022.

Looking forward to meeting you at Tube 2022 in Düsseldorf

Dr. Gunther Voswinckel
President of the ITA
