Dear ITA members, dear colleagues from tube industry
The world’s most important trade fair for the tube and pipe sector, Tube 2020, is now due to take place at the Düsseldorf trade fair grounds, Germany, from December 7 to 11, 2020.
It was agreed in consultation with all trade and industry partners that the only possible response to the growing threat represented by the spread of the coronavirus was to postpone the expo. However, organizers Messe Düsseldorf recognized the need for a timely response to the situation and have lost no time in fixing on an alternative set of dates.
The ITA Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on the Thursday of the expo (December 10, 2020). All ITA members are encouraged to attend and vote at the AGM and following the meeting, as ever, we would love to see you at an informal booth party which will take place at our booth. There is no charge for paid-up members to attend the AGM and the booth party.
And on the Friday (December 11, 2020) we will take great pleasure in inviting visitors to our Student Day, only the second time we have done so, but a great success in 2018.
“It is very important for us to inform you of this new date as soon as possible”, says Wolfram Diener, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, “in order to ensure planning security for the entire industry and its partners.”
Existing contracts with Messe Düsseldorf remain valid for the new dates. Tube fairs are high-profile and high-visibility, and ITA members are as ever provided with free and reduced tickets to the event. All visitor tickets already purchased/distributed remain valid.
The ITA will ensure that members are kept informed of the most up-to-date developments and are here to answer any questions that may arise. We will let you have all the news as we get it.
