Special Pipe Hook for SBM Offshore
Dhatec recently designed a special Pipe Hook for SBM Offshore that was used in crane handling operations for 30m long pipes.
The function of this custom-made Pipe Hook was to keep the lifting slings in place, which resulted in a modified design as this solution was engineered for a horizontal load rather than a vertical load.
This product was deemed a success with positive feedback received from SBM Offshore: ‘Everything went fine during the operation in Dubai and we were pleased with the hooks you provided us’.
