BÜLTMANN 10-roll tube straightening machines also in the aluminium sector further on the advance
The permanently increasing demand for aluminium products is also having a positive impact on the BÜLTMANN tube straightening machine segment. Now that the peeling machine has been imple- mented for processing aluminium bars, the continuous further devel- opment of BÜLTMANN machines especially for the aluminium industry is now also having an effect in the tube straightening machine sector.
High-precision aluminium tubes, which are used especially in the aviation and aerospace industries, require appropriate processing to
meet the growing demands in this area. As one of the last production steps before delivery, straighten- ing has a decisive in uence on tube quality.
Following the recent successful delivery of a 10-roll straighten- ing machine for aluminium tubes up to a diameter of 350 mm for a leading international alumin- ium producer, a new order for two straightening machines to cover the small diameter range of 4 – 150 mm has now been placed by the same group of companies.
The scope of supply includes the respective straightening machine, type RRM 10/032 and type RRM 10/150, as well as the special inlet and outlet equipment. As always, the machines incl. elec- trical control are individually tai- lored to the high requirements of the customer.
