Atomat celebrates 50 years of prominent and successful activity
Because of the untimely demise - last April - of the founder of the company, Mr. Oreste De Sabbata, Atomat decided to postpone the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of its incorporation until shortly before Christmas (December 22), with an “open day” gathering reserved to all its employees, their respective families and a selected group of local authorities.
The program started with a short tour of the industrial premises and a brief illustration of the activities performed in each of the of ces and workshops.
Particular care and effort was com- mitted to keep amused and busy the numerous small attendees to the event: a series of funny Christmas theatrical representa-
tions, featuring Santa Claus and his elves, were performed at each stage of the visit.
Immediately afterwards, all the guests were treated with a lavish brunch buffet put together by a renowned regional starred-chef.
In the meantime our Managing Director, Mr. Fabio Martecchini, offered a historical overview of Atomat, from its beginnings to the present, followed by an infor- mal awarding ceremony to senior employees.
The festivities ended mid after- noon and the lingering percep- tion was that everyone who took part left the venue with a sense of pride for the results and the inter- national stance attained by the company since 1968, along with
the strong determination to keep on bringing home even higher and more important accolades in the years to come.
