The Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board and shareholder, Dr Cornelia Brucklacher, expressed her sincere thanks to all those who are or have been involved in the success of Boehlerit in Oberkochen to
date and wished the company continued success and innovative strength. Further words of welcome were spoken by Mr. Jürgen Köppel, Managing Director of the Leitz company, Mr. Michael Voss, Managing Director of the Bilz company and the Mayor of Oberkochen, Peter Traub. In his remarks,
the mayor emphasised the importance of the company for the local economy and acknowledged its contribution to the crea- tion of jobs and the promotion of industry in the region.
One of the highlights of the celebration
was the honouring of the long-serving
and deserving employees who have been working in Oberkochen since the subsidiary was established. The long-serving employ- ees Viktor Heck, Siegfried Hübenthal, Alex- ander Kling, Andreas Kölzer, Georg Kuss, Kai Lippik, Roswitha Müller, Viktor Pister, Wolfgang Prickler, Rainer Rösgen, Hans-Pe- ter Röttinger and Bernd Sauter received a personal award and were recognised for their many years of loyalty to the company.
