Boehlerit Oberkochen celebrates its 25th company anniversary
 At the end of June, the carbide pioneer Boehlerit from Kapfenberg/Austria celebrated the 25th anniversary of
its German production company in Oberkochen. As part of the celebrations, a tribute was also paid to long-serving employees.
Cutting material and tool specialist Boe- hlerit ensures process reliability and efficiency worldwide with cutting materials, semi-finished products and precision tools as well as tool systems for milling, turning, drilling and forming. The company, which was founded in 1932 and has been fami- ly-run since 1991, is part of the Brucklacher Group, which Boehlerit forms together with the two other legally independent sister groups - Leitz and Bilz. The Boehlerit Group employs over 800 people worldwide at three production sites and international sales companies.
The Oberkochen production site, which specialises in the manufacture of high-qual-
ity wear products, celebrated its 25th anniversary on 30 June 2023 with its work- force and numerous invited guests. The high technical requirements and the tight deadlines of the tool manufacturer Leitz from Oberkochen to deliver profile tools for hard machining express in a maximum of five days led to the establishment of the carbide production in Oberkochen in 1998. Boehlerit has now had one of its produc- tion sites in Oberkochen for a quarter of
a century and has built up an outstanding reputation for its high-quality products.
The anniversary celebration took place in the festively decorated Ölweihersaal at
the Leitz company and gave the guests the opportunity to experience the history and development of the company at first hand. The Sales Manager of Boehlerit Germany, Mr Thomas Renfordt, welcomed the guests. In his subsequent speech, the Managing Director of Boehlerit, Mr Johann Werl from Kapfenberg, emphasised the significance of the anniversary and highlighted historical
