Organisers report an 11.3 % increase in exhibit space at Tube India INTERNATIONAL /Metallurgy India 2012
According to the organisers the recent concurrent staging of Tube India INTERNATIONAL 2012, the fifth “All-Indian Exhibition and Conference for the Tube and Pipe Industries” and Metallurgy India 2012 – “4th International Exhibition & Conference on Metallurgical Technology, Material Handling and Services”, in Mumbai was the largest in the trade show’s history.
172 exhibitors from 26 nations displayed the latest technologies for the sector occupying 2,800m2 of net exhibit space. There were 10.500 trade visitors recorded (Combined figure including visitors to Wire & Cable India and Essen Welding & Cutting). Tube India INTERNATIONAL/ Metallurgy India 2012 featured official country group exhibits from Austria, China, Germany, Italy and France.
Both events were organised by Messe Düsseldorf and its subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf India – Tube India INTERNATIONAL 2012 once again receiving the full support of the International Tube Association (ITA) and its Indian Management Board, both of whom played important roles in the establishing of the first exhibition in Hyderabad eight years ago before its move to Mumbai. Messe Düsseldorf is renowned as the organiser of Tube Düsseldorf and for the first time in 2012, having moved Tube India’s traditional date in the calendar from February to the end of October, was able to offer its well established global model of concurrent tube and wire shows for the first time in India.
The 2012 exhibitions provided the perfect platform for companies to access the emerging Indian market. India has become an important steel and pipe manufacturing centre due to its lower cost, high quality and geographical advantages. Feedback from exhibitors was very positive with the majority of the exhibitors pleased with their participation and giving Tube India INTERNATIONAL 2012 and Metallurgy India 2012 good ratings:

The next staging of Tube India INTERNATIONAL and Metallurgy India is scheduled for October 28 - 30, 2014 in Mumbai - again concurrently with the Wire & Cable India trade show and the India Essen Welding & Cutting trade fair.
