wire India, Tube India, METEC India and India Essen Welding & Cutting again prove innovation drivers for their indus- tries in Mumbai
From 23 to 25 November 2022 the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Center in Mumbai again served as the meeting point for the leading regional trade fairs of the wire, cable and pipe & tube industries as well
as the metallurgical, welding and cutting sectors.
Four trade fairs with a total of 400 exhibi- tors from 21 countries presented current technologies, machinery, finished products, and solutions for their respective industry sectors over three trade fair days.
In addition to Indian companies, most Euro- pean exhibitors came from the Benelux countries, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Turkey, France and Spain.
Overseas companies travelled from the USA, Canada, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, South Africa and China to India. In addition, the trade fairs featured national joint participations from Switzerland, Italy and Germany. The exhib- its were complemented by a comprehen- sive conference programme.
The metal trade fair summit was again organised by Messe Düsseldorf India in cooperation with its international partner associations IWCEA (International Wire and Cable Exhibitors Association), IWMA (Inter- national Wire & Machinery Association), ACIMAF (Italian Wire Machinery Manufac- turers Association), WCISA (Wire and Cable Industry Suppliers Association) and ITA (International Tube Association).
The Indian industry associations SWMAI (Steel Wire Manufacturers Association of India), AIWMA (All India Weldmesh Manu- facturer`s Assocoation), INSDAG (Institute for Steel Development & Growth) and SSPC India (The Society for Surface Protective Coatings - India) supported their trade fairs again.
In 2024, the trade fair quartet will again be held at the Bombay Convention & Exhibi- tion Center, this time from 27 to 29 Novem- ber. www.wire-india.com, www.Tube-india. com, www.metec-india.com, www.iewc.in
