TUBE ARABIA 2013 POST SHOW REPORT
TEKNO ARABIA/ARABIA ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING/TUBE ARABIA 2013, which took place at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, from Sheikh Saeed Hall 2-3, January 2013, has significantly increased its lead as the region’s most important & leading trade show for Industrial Machinery, Sheet Metal, Machine Tools, Die Moulds, Tube & Pipe Industries. Also the region’s only International trade fair exclusively for Joining, Cutting and Surfacing. 292 exhibitors from a total of 27 different nations and approximately 3487 visiting trade professionals mainly from all across the Middle East, North Africa & the Indian sub-continent. The official country participation was from Germany, USA, Austria, UK, Italy, Czech Republic, Turkey, Korea, India while country group participation from China & Taiwan, besides considerable individual companies from many countries.
Positive visitor response to high International level of participation & wide spectrum of exhibits
Approximately 39 percent of Trade visitors came from countries outside of GCC. The largest number of visitors came from Saudi Arabia, India, Iran, Oman, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Pakistan, African countries, and while China, Germany, UK, Italy, and Turkey contributed adequately to the trade visitors. The number of foreign visitors from the Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, Iran , Lebanon, & Jordan the other important foreign markets for exhibiting companies manufacturers, rose to 40 percent on an average basis, as compared to last edition of Tekno Tube Arabia 2011.
51 percent of the trade visitors showed their interest for Welding & Cutting sector 29% of the visitors expressed their interest for Tube sector, while 20% shown interest in general machinery. 67 percent of the visitors are employed as high-level management. 33 percent of TEKNO/ARABIA ESSEN WELDING & CUTTING/TUBE ARABIA visitors indicated that they were influential in making their company’s investment decisions.
