Save the date: HxGN LOCAL AICON 3D Forum on 1 March 2018 in Braunschweig
On 1 March 2018, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence will host the AICON 3D Forum. For the 18th time already, it is all about “Latest trends and applications in optical 3D metrology”. In 2018, the event will take place at the Machine Hall of the Steigenberger Parkhotel in Braunschweig for the first time. The event addresses quality management and metrology representatives from different business areas as well as scientists and all persons interested in this speciality.
Attendees of the HxGN LOCAL AICON 3D Forum will get a widely varied overview of the latest trends and developments. Keynote speaker at the AICON 3D Forum 2018 is Carsten Struve, CTO of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. His topic: “Hexagon Smart Quality in connected factories”. Other lectures will focus, amongst others, on 3D scanning in tool making and 3D printing, the use of photogrammetry in the production and final assembly of generators, as well as the application of optical metrology in tube manufacturing at BMW.
At the accompanying exhibition, participants learn more about new software and metrology products. Besides AICON, e.g. Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Q-DAS, m&h Inprocess Messtechnik GmbH and Simufact Engineering GmbH showcase their products and services.
