"Experience the world of welding" with Germany's largest manufacturer of arc welding technology, EWM AG.
"We are welding" is the guiding theme of the innovative family-run company EWM AG from the German town of Mündersbach and reflects its commitment to living and breathing "welding" on a daily basis – with its staff, suppliers and partners and in cooperation with its customers. When working to meet the needs and requirements of small workshops and craftsmen, medium-sized companies or large industrial groups, customer satisfaction is always EWM's top priority. The group of companies is now inviting all interested visitors to come and gain an impressive insight into EWM and its welding activities at the Euroblech 2016 exhibition.
This year's event focuses on different innovations that show how easy it is to achieve a higher level of cost effectiveness. EWM is therefore presenting its top innovation in the form of its revolutionary MIG/MAG welding process forceArc puls, which combines the advantages of forceArc with the benefits of pulse welding. This process, which will be showcased in a live demonstration at the group's exhibition stand, offers potential overall savings of up to 30 percent. forceArc puls welding is also an extremely simple process, just like the operation of the EWM TIG welding machines with the newly developed Comfort 2.0 control.
This new control concept, which features clear displays and intuitive operation, is integrated into EWM's new TIG welding machines, the Tetrix 230 Comfort 2.0 puls and the Textrix 300 Comfort 2.0 puls, which are both available as DC and AC/DC versions. This new and portable series of machines is provided in EWM system housing, which can be connected to a cooling unit and transport cart without any tools and therefore provides optimal modularity. Another highlight of the Tetrix 300 Comfort 2.0 puls is its digital interface, which allows it to be connected to ewm Xnet. This quality management software enables quality-related data to be quickly recorded and therefore provides full quality control, even when used on site at customer facilities.
Mobile use is also the main focus of yet another EWM product highlight: The new Pico 160 cel puls is currently the lightest portable CEL machine on the market available with an MMA and TIG pulse function. The fact that it is 100% safe for vertical-down welding of cellulose electrodes and offers high mains voltage tolerances makes it the ideal piece of equipment for every construction site, even in continuous operation. EWM confirms this by providing a 3-year guarantee for all of its welding machines and even a 5-year guarantee for its transformers and rectifiers, even when used in 3-shift operation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The EWM AG stand at Euroblech 2016 is well worth a visit for reasons other than this year's highlights. EWM has been providing everything from a single source for many years and therefore assumes responsibility for the technological requirements of the entire welding process. Its full range of welding services extends from its "maXsolution" innovation and technology consulting through to welding machines, welding torches, welding consumables and accessories and right through to software and a comprehensive after-sales service. EWM uses its technology, consultation and services to support its customers in the optimisation of their entire welding process chain and therefore helps them to increase their competitiveness.
With its complete range of products and technologies for all welding tasks and its corresponding services, EWM AG clearly shows that welding is not only its passion, but also its true vocation. This is perfectly summed up by the EWM motto: “We are welding, we love welding and we live welding.”
