FASPAR and OLIMPIA80: a successful synergy for turn-key tube manufacturing

FASPAR, an expert in the engineering and manufacturing of coil processing equipment, and OLIMPIA80, an expert in the manufacture of engineering and manufacturing of systems and equipment for welded tubes, have shared their experience and core business to guarantee an elevate quality of strips products at the entry of the tube mills. This operation is often underestimated but is very important in order to exploit to the maximum the capacity of the tube mill. As a result of their synergy, FASPAR and OLIMPIA80 are now the right partners for turn-key tube manufacturing for products which meet the demands of the market and customers.

Faspar SpA is a globally recognized producer of turn-key equipment for the processing of metal coils since 1966.
The main product range at FASPAR includes:

  • Slitting lines
  • Levelling and Straightening, and Cut-to-length lines (with feeder, or rotary shear or flying shear)
  • Surface finishing lines
  • Feeding and Pressing/Punching/Bending lines
  • Tension/Stretch levelling lines

Olimpia80 Srl is a company specialized in engineering and manufacture of systems and equipment for welded tubes, since 1980.
The main product range at Olimpia80 includes:

  • Complete tube mills and components

Recently FASPAR and OLIMPIA80 have put in operation one slitting line and two tube mills, positioned side by side, in a Ukrainian plant of one of the largest world Titanium producers.
The final use of these Titanium tubes are the energy field (Nuclear) and the heat exchangers.
FASPAR slitting line can process Titan coils grade 1 and 2, VT1-0 up to 10 Tons, line speed up to 200 m/min, thickness from 0,4 to 2,5 mm, in order to produce strips width from 35 mm up to 200 mm, suitable for the tube mills lines and final output tubes diameter.
OLIMPIA80 tube mills lines can process tubes with outside diameters from 12 up to 60.3 mm, and thickness from 0.4 to 2.5 mm, welded with TIG system; the final tubes length is from 4 up to 26 m.
